A concert opener for the young band, “Inspiritus Overture” is a light and joyous selection to showcase your ensemble’s versatility. With melodies shared across the band, true overture form is achieved by an opening fanfare followed by rich, luscious melodies that develop and recapitulate. Highlighting dynamic contrasts throughout, “Inspiritus Overture” allows young performers the opportunity to experience and learn musical independence on their road to becoming a versatile musician. A wonderful addition to the young band concert and festival repertoire!
